The importance of closeness among siblings in the socialization and educational aspect

Summary/Abstract: The content of the article presents a different perspective on the closeness through the relationship in siblings. The dynamic development of the relationship depends on many factors. The proximity of siblings affects, for example, the intimacy of siblings. The method of maintaining the relationship between siblings is visible in other relations at the stage of education. Attention is also focused on research done among siblings in one of the lower secondary school. The research concerned cooperation and competition as an activity through which siblings build, develop and strengthen relationships. 73 young people were examined (of which 22 came from large families).
