Sociological Parallels In The "Football Bible" As A Contribution To Modern Understanding Games And Sports In Society

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the basic concepts of sports and games, which explains the essence of the sociological phenomenon. The author also show the development of sports, which always had elements para-religios, nationalism and to some extent, had a political message. Processing work „Football bible“ presented are interesting paral- lels that the author uses in order to clarify certain people, processes and events in the sport. Expressed the usefulness of these elements and relationships for the overall contribution to understanding and understanding of the game in svaremenom social totality. Emphasizes the importance of this approach the matter, as well as recom- mendations for further efforts in the direction of study and research in the field of so- ciology of sport.
