Summary/Abstract: The Eastern Partnership (EaP) aims to enhance the interaction between the European Union (EU) and Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The Partnership which intends to deepen the relations by supporting these countries’ prosperity and stability within the framework of mutual interest principal has emerged by the development of European Neighbourhood Policy. The ultimate goal is not being a member of the EU but it desires the development of a mutual interaction between the partners in political, social and economic areas and increasing their welfare. What are the Eastern Partnership’s goal and limits? Are the EaP and other EU programmes dedicated for the transformation process in Eastern Europe adequately? How has the Eastern Partnership been seen in those countries? What have been the main successes and failures of this programme? This paper tries to give answers for these questions.
