Summary/Abstract: Throughout the history of education, the issue of differentiated treatment of students, according to age and individual peculiarities, has been approached by one or another, by all the great thinkers or practitioners in the field of education. Differential treatment means the adaptation to the psychophysical peculiarities of the student, the educational influence, according to student peculiarities, thus facilitating the discovery and cultivation of skills, inclinations, interests and training to the level of student’s possibilities. Education takes into account the individual skills, the individual's specificity and the environmental requirements or the cultural traditions of the groups that make up the society, with a view to optimal social integration. A coherent and adaptive educational policy adapted to the requirements of democratic education takes into account human diversity and is based on strategies for respecting inter-individual differences. Strategies for designing, organizing and conducting teaching in school have the most important role in promoting school success.
