Summary/Abstract: Act No. 185/2001 Coll., on waste as amended, stipulates which entities are considered by law to be waste generators. Waste generators are ex lege legal entities and natural persons authorized to conduct business in whose activities the waste is generated. Waste generators are responsible for the management of waste until it is recovered or disposed of, provided that they do so themselves as authorized persons or until it is transferred to the person authorized to take it over.
