Summary/Abstract: On 1 May 2004 will undoubtedly be clearly written in the history of the Czech Republic as one of their milestones. The Czech Republic's membership in the European Union brings with it a number of changes in the lives of citizens, but also in the activities of public authorities. The subject of this article is the analysis of these changes in relation to a key constitutional body, ie the Parliament. Although its focus is on interpreting the new addition to Czech parliamentary law, I consider it necessary to make a few remarks about its background and context. The legal regulation of Parliament's involvement in European affairs has several levels: European, constitutional, legal and possibly autonomous.
