Oppression due to social group membership. Inner characteristics or social perception

Summary/Abstract: Articles dealing with the interpretation of the term refugee, or the asylum procedure in the Czech Republic, have already appeared on the pages of this magazine many times. However, as far as the author of these lines is aware, belonging to a certain social group as one of the reasons for persecution has not yet been systematically addressed in the Czech legal literature. The intention of this article is to fill the above-mentioned gap.
