Summary/Abstract: Article 141a of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic establishes the Court Council of the Slovak Republic. The Court Council of the Slovak Republic has 18 members. Its chairman and obligatory member due to the performance of the function is the chairman of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic. In addition, it has 8 other members elected and removed by judges, three members elected and removed by the National Council of the Slovak Republic, three members appointed and removed by the President of the Slovak Republic and three members elected and removed by the Government of the Slovak Republic.
