Summary/Abstract: Archbishop Mečislovas Reinys is one of the most prominent personalities. He paid much attention to personality development. According to him, multidisciplinary education is very important, where a person’s personality can unfold. The Archbishop was admired by Don Bosco’s ideas to make the school a community. This is important nowadays when the school’s threshold goes beyond personality with a variety of life experiences. Consequently, it must appear as one of the most important factors in education, to be a moral and valuable core, which is not differ from life. Therefore, it is right to call today‘s Catholic school a cross of experience and ideas. The ideas of Archbishop Mečislovas Reinys about education and upbringing have not lost their persistence. They find a proper response to the activities and mission of the current Catholic schools.
