Summary/Abstract: The paper reviews the Bulgarian mobile telecommunications market, its development and the major challenges for the telcoms on the market. It includes an overview of the used so far growth strategies and indicates the opportunities provided by the digitalization of the economy and market perspectives, dominated by massive IoT and big data penetration, as well as expected products and services migration from the physical to the digital world.
