Summary/Abstract: Inspiration, to reflect on tenderness, physical proximity and touch, became the last point of the Hunch Compendium, developed under the action "Hugging is important". The need to cuddle does not decrease with age. The problem was addressed in the article in qualitative methodology. The main research problem was in the question: What are the effects of lack of touch on the women surveyed and what strategies they are taking to deal with this shortcoming? The study used one of the case study types, i.e. the biographical method. The material was obtained by narrative-biographical interview. Research has shown that the consequences of lack of touch, in adult life, are psychological and physical. Among them should be mentioned: loneliness, making random sexual contacts, lack of affection or somatisation of the body. Adult women, invarious ways, compensate for his absence in his life. They cuddle with pets or cuddly mascots, show themselves the same physical tenderness, look for touchin their social space or eat. The need for touch is born with the man and with age is not reduced.
