Summary/Abstract: The national struggle, which started against Russian invasion at the beginning of the XX. century, showed up in literature, culture and press. Some intellectual writers like Ali Bey Huseyinzadeh, Ahmad Agaoglu, Jalil Mahmadguluzadeh, Uzeyir Hadjibeyov, worked so much for the enlightenment of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani intellectual writers who benefited from the new political implementations of the tsarist regime started to found new press organs in their own language. Hasim Bey Vezirov, whose very important place in the history of Azerbaijani literature and press was one of the sophisticated men, who contributed to press actively. Vezirov, who started the prefessional journalism in the newspaper company “Irshad”, found his own press organs afterwards. He presented the newspaper “Fresh Life” to Azerbaijani press. After the newspaper was shut down by the government, he found “Alliance”, “Voice”, “The Voice of Justice”, “The Voice of Homeland”, “Kavkazits”, “Mezeli” between 1907-1916.
