Family and Career – Contemporary Development of the Career Path from an Individual and Family Perspective

Summary/Abstract: This text refers to discussion on the meanings of the condition of contemporary families. The article attempts to present the basic tendencies in defining the family, taking into account the social-economic and cultural changes, which have also marked the family community. A special point of reference is the results of qualitative research, which presents interpretations of tasks, functions of the family and its influence on the process of lifelong learning and interpretation of the achieved career.
