Summary/Abstract: The family equips the child for the future with the patterns of behavior, attitudes, social roles and values, prepares them for functioning in society, and is consequently the basic educational environment. Disturbances in its functioning and pathologization of the family environment are caused by the use of domestic violence. It is a phenomenon that has complex causes and very broad consequences for the lives of individuals and society.
