Summary/Abstract: The first link in the education system in Poland is pre-school education. The Polish education system enables parents to participate in the life of institutions and co-decide on the process of education and upbringing of their children. Parents' participation in deciding of the shape and activities of the facility requires frequent, substantive and active contacts from both sides. The aim of the study was to learn the opinions of kindergarten teachers and parents of preschool children about the cooperation of kindergarten teachers with parents. The Municipal Kindergarten No. 13 in Pabianice was chosen as the research area ofthis work.
