Summary/Abstract: The authorization of online gambling in Romania is beneficial under the current economic and financial conditions because it allows the state budget to gain important amounts of money. In order to understand the mechanisms and the conditions of functioning we present in this article the main aspects related to the activity carried out by police officers in charge with fraud investigation.
