Summary/Abstract: The topic of this article is description of the intensifiers of meaning in German, i.e. word-formation-structures of emotional character. The article aims to answer the question whether German intensifiers can be placed on the intensity scale in a regular way. The intensity scale used in the research has been created by van Os (1989).
