Summary/Abstract: Following a detailed analysis of irregular migration, we can conclude that this phenomenon is mainly conditioned by the severely poor situation in the countries of origin; it is also the consequence of social, political and ethnic problems. The countries of destinations are not able to control the borders in their entirety, the social systems are overpowered and crime rates rise dramatically.
