Summary/Abstract: Zef Pllumi is the last great commentator of Lahuta e Malcís (1937), from the generation of Gjergj Fishta's followres, a great connoisseur, classical commentator and an direct lecturer. These are the basic signs of Pllumi's commentary on Fishta's masterpiece Lahuta e Malcís, embarking with data and references of the historical and political context, curved as a classic literary comment and closed as open criticism to the younger Albanian generation. In this regard, the Pllumi’s comments provides the lesson steming from the work of Fishta, he considers it the work of the ages, and therefore he want we to have it on the table today, in the future as well. It seems like an ideal, but without aiming the ideal, universal literature lessons cannot be given or taken. Pllumi knows that Fishta tells his truths about typical situations, while his truths lie in the realm of the possible and the literary universe, so Fishta proposes it to us here as well. A literary commentator like Pllumi is a lover of the work, so his discourse is identified by the work. While, also known as a literary follower of Fishta, Pllumi articulates criticism, be part even ironically, a sign of the wrath of a man who endured endlessly. He feels that we are in front of a major change and articulates it as a risk. Yes, it is e risk; we have to trust Pllumi, because he is a reliable witness and a authentic commentator of Fishta’s work.
