The on problems of professional activity of people with disabilities

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on disabled people’s professional activity. The troubles they face and the support offered to them on the job market. The disabled’s activity largely depends on their vocational competencies obtained during their vocational education, which was co-related with the job market. The article also presents ideas on how to activate the disabled’s professional activity. Moreover, based on my own research, an attempt has been made to point out the factors influencing the disabled’s activity. The research findings, based on results from secondary schools in Lubuskie Voivodeship, have shown the need for creating a flexible support system which would be accessible not only to the disabled but also their families.
