Family support in the face of creating a Social Services Center

Summary/Abstract: The setting-up of Centres for Social Services is a task for the local government units on the one hand, but also a challenge, as it gives the municipalities the opportunity to find new solutions in the field of social services, building on existing potential and experience. Social ethics, although not explicitly stated by the law, is firmly embedded in direct aid measure. Foster care is trying to support families incapable of upbringing. It is in the interest of the local government to coordinate its assistance activities with the family in need in order to bring back as effectively and as quickly as possible the young members staying in foster families away from home. Thus, family is the place where an individual takes all that society is most concerned about, i.e. norms, principles, values culture and preparation forsocial roles.
