Summary/Abstract: Isn’t Earth the matrix of the human species, in all of its creations and re-creations? This “essay-fiction” offers a reflection on the concept of planetarity. It sparks a debate on the aftermath of economic globalism and commercial borders (free trade treaties, the return of bilateralism during the Trump era among several other questions). The evocation of the oeuvres of Antonin Artaud and Arthur Rimbaud allows us to describe what is gravitational poetics, where the texts seem to feel the power of terrestrial attraction. The planetary humanity raises the question of the uniqueness of the human subject, following the abolition of all physical frontiers.
