Dictionary Writing Workshop in Ferrara

Summary/Abstract: In this paper one of the 15th-century exemplars of Pseudo-Cyril, the only extant alphabetical Greek-Latin dictionary from antiquity is investigated, an unfinished manuscript which is kept in the University Library of Cambridge as Kk. v. 12. The author’s aim is, by producing a stemmatic analysis, to find the position of this particular apograph in the manuscript tradition and to explore the circumstances of how, when, and where it was prepared.
