Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of political globalization on sustainable development in developed and developing countries. For this purpose, the data of 36 developed and 84 developing countries, covering the period of 1990-2015, were used. According to the results of the system-GMM methods, political globalization has a positive effect on sustainable development in both developed and developing countries. The positive effect of political globalization on sustainable development is higher in developed countries than in developing countries. The impact of de facto political globalization and de jure political globalization on sustainable development has also been analyzed. In all countries and developed countries, de facto and de jure political globalization has a positive impact on sustainable development. In these countries, de jure political globalization has a greater impact on sustainable development. In developing countries, while jure political globalization has a positive effect on sustainable development, de facto political globalization negatively affects sustainable development.
