Located time in the context of geographical thinking of Andrzej Lisowski

Summary/Abstract: The subject of considerations in the presented article is the context of justification of geographical thinking of Andrzej Lisowski described in his book Concepts of space in human geography. When undertaking the discussion with the aforementioned work, the following thesis was adopted: space, although a necessary condition of a geographical point of view, is not a sufficient one, because time should be also taken into account. Therefore, only the interaction of space and time must be accepted as a necessary and sufficient condition for the geographical thinking. Selected literary works of fiction constituted the research materials which allowed to gather the arguments justifying the legitimacy of the thesis.
