Summary/Abstract: The concept of social responsibility has become known since 1970, although various aspects related concepts were integrated into the scope of organizations and governments since the nineteenth century. Since the beginning social responsibility was focused mainly on the business sector at international level, the term corporate social responsibility (CSR) is better known than social responsibility. At EU level social responsibility is understood as a concept through which a company voluntarily integrates concerns about the social and environmental issues in business operations and in their interaction with our stakeholders.
