Summary/Abstract: Purpose – In this study about organizational behaviour, it is aimed to reveal that the relationships among organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and altruism and to determine the mediating role of job satisfaction on the effect of organizational commitment on altruism behavior. Design/methodology/approach – Research data were obtained in February-March 2019 from 212 expert servants working in public industry. By the SPSS 25, correlation and regression analyzes were conducted in accordance with the data. So, the relationships between the variables, the effects of the variables on each other and the mediating role of job satisfaction on the effect of organizational commitment on altruism behavior were tried to be determined. Findings – According to the results of correlation analysis, there are positive relationships between organizational commitment, job satisfaction and altruism. The results of the regression analysis show that organizational commitment has a significant effect on altruism and job satisfaction and job satisfaction has a significant effect on altruism.
