Summary/Abstract: Weaving is an art that started with the history of humanity and emerged as a matter of necessity, and has evolved over time and incorporated the traces of the past. The weaving of each region in Anatolia has traditional and regional characteristics, its life culture, beliefs, climate, availability of the material used in the region, colors used in yarns and natural dyes, motifs on them, purpose of use, etc. a number of factors are decisive. The Eastern Black Sea Region, which is the study area, provides us with examples of these weavings with these characteristics and made with traditional methods on hand looms. In the field studies carried out in the Eastern Black Sea Region; It has been determined that ehram in Artvin and Bayburt, Tamzara weaving and Tirebolu cloth in Giresun, Rize cloth (feretiko) in Rize, and discovery weaving and futa loincloths, Trabzon ketan (cloth) or tevek. These weawings in the region have been evaluated with their similarities and differences.
