Summary/Abstract: The motifs used in handicrafts decorate the surfaces to form a composition with various forms, forms and arrangements. It is seen that these applications continue to exist in carpet, plain weaving (rug, rug, bell) and fabric weavings in a continuous development from past to present. By using various motifs in carpet, plain weave and fabric weavings, certain schemes are arranged on the surface of these products within certain rules and the whole, which is formed by the smallest motif, is called "composition". Based on the knowledge and experience of centuries, a rich diversity has occurred in the compositions that are formed by the stylization of the motifs used in handicrafts and arranged with these motifs. In this study, the composition arrangements determined in the Eastern Black Sea Region weavings are discussed and the similarities between the compositions in the previous periods and the regional weavings have been examined and compared. As a working method, the region was visited and the fabrics were identified and documented with a photo, face-to-face interviews were made with the source people, and information was obtained. Based on the weavings obtained as a result of the field study conducted in the Eastern Black Sea Region, medallion (with navel), where the motifs are placed diagonally (eternity principle), mihrab, formed by separating the ground into horizontal bands, formed by separating the ground into vertical bands, with symmetrical, depicted (object) and writing motifs. It is concluded that composition arrangements are used.
