Summary/Abstract: Turks who spread and dominated in a cultural geography from Adriatic to China Sea, not just influenced culture of people where they live but also are affected by the other cultures. However this interaction process which needs to be handled by a interdisciplinary, is degenerated by especially Indo-European approach particularly in determining the origin of some cultural elements. Turkish culture and civilization which have always been taken the initiative for radical changes, can be mentioned at the beginning of the cultures affected by this point of view. As it’s all known, Turkic people had chosen different religions in history and when the religion dominated the culture, the people had been in danger to grow away from the cultural identity. One of those religions are Lamaism which spread among the Siberian people and Burkhanism which showed up in last century.
