Summary/Abstract: Death is an indispensable reality for every living thing. Although aware of this inevitable truth, one is more or less affected by every death. But the death of more loved ones or those who are valued more than love leads to a more painful and deeper process. This phase, which is called the “mourning process genel, generally consists of stages such as shock, longing, reconstruction and revival and reconstruction of identity. One of the most characteristic examples of the death pain experienced after such people is Hz. The Prophet’s death is seen on the Companions. In all the Companions Hz. ‘Umar’s attitude has a very different place. Because he firmly denied that the Messenger of Allah had died, but said that he might have fainted or claimed that he had lived in the moment of revelation. According to him, even if the Prophet died, Allah will revive him.
