The changes occurring with migration movement from rural to urban areas and their effects on agricultural production are explained in the example of two neighborhoods which are exemplary study areas. The common characteristics of the neighborhoods where the study is carried out are that agricultural activities are significantly reduced and emigrated. The main reason for migration out of the neighborhood is that agricultural production alone is not an adequate economic activity and employment opportunities in the city. The study aims to explain the concept of migration emerging as a result of these changes and transformations by identifying the social changes and transformations of rural areas in two village examples. The research is a qualitative study and focus group interview technique was used. Focus group meetings were held with a total of 20 people, approximately 10 people in each neighborhood. Focus group interview participants are muhtars and the notables of the neighborhoods. According to the results of the study, with the decrease of agricultural activities in both villages, there was an immense migration from rural to urban areas.
