Summary/Abstract: Due to dissensions which emerged between the European Union and the US on the one hand and Russia on the other side, in recent years, the crisis in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea peninsula by the Russian Federation, the diplomatic relations, the economic, trade and military system between East and West have entered in a potentially uncertain era and we can say that we are witnessing the most tense relations after the Cold War. The situation has generated economic and financial sanctions imposed on Russia by the international community. In turn Russia responded with embargos applied to certain products reaching to cutting gas supplies to Ukraine.
