Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to analise theatrical practices at school in its historical and con- temporary dimension. The author focuses on the notion School Theatre and Theatre in Education, its history in the 19th and 20th Century, Jacques Copeau and Charles Dullin, theatre evolution from games based on dramas to the dramatic game and the place of text in the dramatic activities of children.
