The Support of Culture from Public Local Resources

Summary/Abstract: The basic question of the democratic state which solves the problem of culture support within the system of market economy as a support from public sources, is how the society defi nes its own attitude to culture. Former socialist states defi ned their own attitude to culture as “cultural policy”. Process of decentralization is present in cultural policy of the state. Then fi nancing of culture is realized: from regional and local budgets; from budgets based on state subventions; through direct partial financing.
