Summary/Abstract: The Human Rights Law or the International Humanitarian Law are ignored by the “Islamic State” which continues to arrogate its quality of counsel of the Muslim population from Mali, Iraq or Syria, but it seems that the Muslims do not want to be “defended” by this terrorist group. What is happening today and in areas controlled by the self-entitled Islamic State, is an example of poor implementation and non-application of the principles of human rights or humanitarian law, such as severe repression of Shia Muslim and Christian population; the massacre of several Sunni Muslims, members of rival armed groups, labeled as being a threat to the Islamic State; draconian measures in restriction of freedom of speech and expression and the right of assembly; limiting access to information.
