Considerations regarding THE usE of modern information and communication technologies in military training and education systems from NATO and EU

Summary/Abstract: With each passing year, we find that the emergence of new technologies, especially information and communication technologies, determine a different approach in the way of application of training and education programs. These different approaches in implementation of new technologies in different organizations are determined by purpose, technical, financial, and human possibilities, and not least by the importance given to the impact of these technologies on education and training system. Using the potential of new technologies is a growing trend at global level and modern armies have assimilated very quickly these technologies in the education and training domain, sometimes before the civilian educational environment. This article is focused especially on e-learning technologies.
