Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to focus on the influence of the new Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/UE) on Polish law. There hasn’t been in Polish law system any regulation on electronic commerce, which would deal with digital content, although music, movie and book retail sale constitutes mostly digital downloads.1 With regards to Polish Civil Code and other relevant acts, it has never been defined what the digital content is; it has never been resolved weather it is the product or the service.
