Summary/Abstract: People who need the help of others after taking addictive substances, in addition to perception of delinquency, experience multiple ambivalent feelings and shame before themselves and others. They seek support in their struggle against addiction over the full range of human needs as biological, psychological, social and spiritual beings. Self-confidence, interpersonal trust and trust in the social whole play an important role. The starting point and interesting phenomenon is the role of spirituality.
