Summary/Abstract: One of the main requirements of specialized languages is the depersonalization and objectification of speech. These characteristics emphasize the process presented and its effects. In order to present the impersonal character, in Romanian and French, the speaker preferably uses passive turns.Liabilities are a complex subject and we do not intend to examine them in detail. We focus on some aspects that interest us and that are often treated in Romanian and French grammars such as: the formation of liabilities, the expression of the agent and the use of liabilities.
