Restoration of the three lakes in Olsztyn, in the context of the development of recreational area city

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the range of the restoration treatments, which were carried out in three lakes in the city of Olsztyn (Lake Długie, Lake Starodworskie and Lake Krotowskie). The impact of these projects onthe development and management of tourism and recreation area has been assessed. Restoration techniques have been developed, implemented by the staff of the Department of Water Protection Engineering, the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
