Monitoring System of tourist traffic (SMtt) in the Stołowe Mountains National Park in the research on tourism spaces

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the assumptions of the "Monitoring System of tourist traffic (SMtt)” introduced in the Stołowe Mountains National Park and the spatial-temporal characteristics of tourist traffic in the park, based on data from the first period of system operation in 2016 (16/09 - 31/12). The data was obtained from infrared traffic counters installed along the walking routes, enabling determination of the popularity of the park's attractions as well as the spatial-temporal characteristics of tourist traffic.
