Model for Optimal Use of Material Resources in the Health System

Summary/Abstract: Modelling represents the transition from the real phenomenon to the mathematical model by taking into account the essential aspects by neglecting some issues and elements with a view to carry out a study on a simpler mathematical model. In the literature there are a variety of mathematical models utilised for determining the optimal allocation of personnel in the health system such as: econometric type models, linear programming models, dynamic discrete models, recursive models, optimal control models, mathematical models that use finite Markov chains.
