Summary/Abstract: The present text evokes the installation of His Eminence Antonie Plămădeală in the Metropolitan See of Transylvania, in 1982. The event took place in Sibiu and was attended by official figures of the Church and of the cultural life in Romania. The presence of His Beatitude Iustin Moisescu, the Patriarch of Romania, left a remarkable impression. His theological work is lapidary and brilliant, starting with the doctoral thesis in Theology at the University of Athens. And whoever reads The Activity of the Apostle Paul in Athens will no longer be surprised by the appreciation shown by Constantin Noica to Iustin Moisescu as a Hellenist.
