Summary/Abstract: Duras, the “heretic” of literature and femininity? According to the critics of the time, this woman writer of “a thousand scandals” was doubly guilty: by her audacity to violate the laws of writing, mixing genres, and by her courage to transgress social norms, writing on taboo topics, such as incest, impossible love or homosexuality, unlivable passion or absence. The books she writes on these themes belong to the 80s and can be named the books of impossible love, of emotional emptiness, also of forbidden, incestuous or shameless passion.
