DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PRODUCERS IN TEKİRDAG PROVINCE AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Summary/Abstract: Agriculture is an indispensable sector in terms of sustaining the population of the country and contributing to the economy, employment and national income. If a country's agriculture is not given due importance, it cannot be expected to develop economically. In this context, 182 agricultural enterprises engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry were interviewed in Tekirdağ. Using the collected data, analyzes of these enterprises were made. In this study, gender distributions, age ranges and education levels of the producers in Tekirdağ province were presented.
