Summary/Abstract: The organizational mechanism of the municipal management system is perceived as a management model that requires the extension of the level of independence and responsibility of the municipalities, as well as the increase of the role of local self-government and the need for a balanced development of the entire economic system. At present, it is necessary to realize systemic, complex and qualitative indicators of sustainable development through the prism of the new organizational mechanism of the municipal management system. The modernization of the organizational mechanism of the municipal management system requires the application of the modern instrumentation developed for the management of the municipal public administration and to meet the requirements of a multilateral hierarchical system of county governance
