Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the way ethnic groups perceive social and cultural changes in society. The study of this phenomenon is based on the study of ethnic identity, time perspective, perception of time through autobiographical memory. The results of the study revealed the dynamics of the transformation of ethnic identity, the diversity in perception of the present and the future. The subjects of the study are ethnic groups of Moldovans, Russians, Gagauz, Bulgarians and Ukrainians
