Summary/Abstract: Patriotic consciousness is the main spiritual and cultural characteristic of thepersonality, one of the most important components of both individual and social consciousness, thefoundation of social and state systems, being the spiritual and moral foundation of their efficientfunctioning. The education of the patriotic consciousness should begin with the formation in thehuman consciousness of the universe of values related to the notion of Homeland, which is possibleonly on the basis of the necessary acquired knowledge.
