Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the objective need to reactivate and modernize the national defence industry which must be given strategic value by the political and military leadership of the country. The essential issue highlighted is the need to equip our forces with combat technique both for the accomplishment of the missions derived from our country’s NATO Member status, and for the assurance of the operability requirements at the national level.
